| Quantify Energy Savings |
weatherproofer |

I have been asked several times recently whether IR inspections can be used to quantify energy savings. The most recent request was in relation to electrical inspection. Is it possible to determine energy savings if a device is scanned after the repair?
Also, what would be the best methodology for quantifying thermal loss in building exterior cladding?
Thanks for any advice. |

| You could measure current draw to get an idea of power consumed. It might be difficult to read small current differences on some clamp-on meters. |
