I saw some films showing the police using aninfrared technlogy to monitor the suspect inside an apartment. The images in the film just show a patch of colour moving in the apartment. What kind of technology is talking about? is it fake?

| This is Hollywood special effects. I am not aware of any IR technology see through solid walls. Perhaps, some microwave imaging might have a chance. |
